Audi Expands In-Vehicle Personalization with New Audi Themes Experience

Your Audi's cabin is about to become a more personal space. Audi of America has announced significant enhancements to Audi Themes, the digital personalization platform that transforms your vehicle's infotainment displays and available interior lighting to reflect your individual style.

A Growing Canvas of Customization

Since debuting stateside in December 2023, Audi Themes has expanded from a modest library of fewer than 50 designs to more than 340 curated experiences, ranging from sweeping landscapes to abstract artwork and seasonal collections. Rather than purchasing themes individually, eligible customers can now unlock the entire catalog—including future additions—through a paid annual subscription available via the myAudi Marketplace, priced at $39.99 per year, or roughly $3.33 monthly, plus applicable taxes.

Personal Themes: Your Memories, Your Dashboard

The standout addition is Personal Themes, a new capability that lets customers upload their own photographs and transform them into custom in-vehicle displays. Whether it's a treasured family moment, a cherished pet, or a favorite Audi memory, drivers can maintain up to three personal themes at once, created directly through the myAudi app. These personal touches remain linked to your myAudi account and travel with you across compatible vehicles, though they require an active subscription and signed-in status to appear.

Designed to Enhance, Not Alter

It's worth noting that Audi Themes is purely a visual personalization layer. It enhances display backgrounds and, where equipped, coordinates with interior ambient lighting, but it does not affect vehicle performance, driving characteristics, or core infotainment functionality. The feature is available on select model year 2023 and newer vehicles with compatible infotainment systems, and Audi is offering a seven-day introductory trial for just $1.00 to let curious owners experience it firsthand.
